Just down the street from Stalin is this outpost of U.S. consumerist culture triumphant. Almost made me want to go in there … although they seem to be advertising some strange chicken sandwich, as well as a roasted onion sandwich.
Anyway, despite the biting wind, the 20-degree temps and intermittent snow people were still out on the outside eating area, chowing down. There are at least 4 Mcd’s within walking distance of Red Square. There is some larger meaning behind all this, but alas! The vodka prevents me from teasing it out…
