I’ve been sick for the past week, and this has meant that I have been even more sluggish and prone to lying around listlessly than usual.
Which, of course, meets with the complete approval of the feline contingent of my household. I’ve also noticed that when it starts getting chilly, my cats start getting very, very affectionate at night. Especially when I turn on the heating blanket, which in CatWorld is known as “The Greatest Invention Ever.”
One advantage: cats are soft and fluffy, and quite handy to have around when you sneeze and can’t reach the Kleenex.
Hi Dave.
Just wanted to say, as a fellow owner of a brown tabby, that in addition to their usefulness as facial tissues, they make great dust rags, too. 🙂
Hope you’re feeling better now.

Dust rag? I wish. The indoor-outdoor nature of my cats means that trying to dust with them would leave the surface even more occluded than when I began.
However, they are good squeegees (in a pinch).
