Here’s a short clip that shows what the child being held up by her father in front of me was seeing. I have vague memories of being held up like this back in ’68 when my parents went to go see Hubert Humphrey and Robert Kennedy speak down at the Co-op. There were only a couple thousand people there that cold March day, not hundreds of thousands, the way there were today on Wilshire … but I have never forgotten it.

I wonder if this little girl will remember this.
