Just goofing off with this program called Photomatix – which takes a single RAW image and takes all the image information contained therein and blends it into one final image. Sometimes the effect is very surreal. I guess it works better when you have a bunch of bracketed images, and a very contrasty environment. You can see the distinctive “halo” effect on the horizon line…
