This is a “spin in place” shot of what the crowd looked like from the center of Wilshire and La Brea. Again, please excuse the shitty quality of the video and especially the audio. This was taken with the “movie” function of my Canon Powershot, and the image suffers accordingly. Still, to have a movie camera that fits in my coat pocket along for the ride is nothing to sneeze at. As I will have to wait at least a day to soup my film and see if anything came out on the chromes and Tri-X that I was shooting, this immediacy is something I do appreciate.
It was a total assault on the senses.
